  1. I don’t believe you can force happiness, Happiness should come within you.Deep within you. Your mind, spirit and soul. I guess you can trick your mind into thinking you have true happiness temporarily but eventually your heart will let you know that your not truly happy deep within.

I don’t think happiness can be forced. Life is like that at times and writing will reflect that. Sometimes things need to be dark and gloomy before happiness can form. Even in writing. Not everything needs to be happy. After all writing is an extension of your thoughts and feelings and for some, happiness comes and goes. That’s not a bad thing. It’s okay to be sad and write sadly. It’s what you feel and experience that determine what your writing will be. Forcing happiness is difficult and hard to force happiness to words, it will never feel right.

What I would want my reader to know about my story, is that it is still a work in progress and that there is no happy ending to it quite yet and there might not be one for a while. I’m still learning and I definitely know there are many lessons to come that I know that I will not understand at first but will realize that in order for me to become who I am meant to be, I will have to go through what is meant for me to experience.

I mean I try to keep the negativity out of my life and always try to make a joke out anything and everything possible. Can I write it into actuality? I don’t know if I can but I hope through class I can try.

I don’t believe you can force happiness. You can mask everything, even put up a facade, but subconsciously you will feel sadness, despair, or anger. However, expressing your feelings whether it’s writing, art, or music would help significantly.

I’m not sure if you can “force” happiness. I truly believe that happiness is from your inner self. As much as someone might think things or people or objects or whatever gives them happiness, it’s not true. True genuine happiness comes from deep inside you when you are happy with yourself and your life.. and if you’re not… then YOU have to change that.

I feel you cannot force happiness onto someone else. Momentarily yes but I believe the only person that can truly keep you happy is yourself. I also think you can force happiness into yourself because you choose the way you react and handle any situation. The trait that i believe keeps some people from being able to stay happy with themselves is lack of metal toughness and self control to be able to recognize the situation they are in and react maturely.

I don’t believe you can force happiness. You feel the way you feel but as I said earlier you can change the environment around you and that can bring you happiness. I think it’s important to look for what makes you happy but it is also good to be sad every now and then, this way you actually know you’re alive and it makes the happy times so much more memorable. I believe writing it into existence in a literal way is not possible but if you write down what you want in a journal every day, you are reminding yourself of that and you can begin to make the necessary changes in your life to bring you that peace.

I definitely feel like happiness can be forced, but I don’t believe it can be forced by just anyone. Some have the mental capacity as well as energy to continuously think “happy thoughts” everyday that put them in a positive head space that generates happiness. I believe patience is also a big factor, because finding happiness can also be a process, that isn’t always the prettiest. It can be a dark and heavy process that many don’t have the patience nor the desire to go through all of that to find happiness. So think it really just depends on the person.

Yes it really does! There are times that you can’t just be happy and that’s okay! It’s okay to feel and write sadly! It is a way to let those emotions out to try and make room for the happier times. It takes time yes, lots of time. It’s like an endless rollercoaster, with its peaks and valleys. Sometimes you need time to get out of that valley to reach your peak!

I think it comes with the practice. Writing all your thoughts without worry helps or even of what is right in front of you! Finding new ways to say a word, describe a color or the appearance of something even if it sounds silly at times. You learn new words or phrases to make it vibrant! It’s in the time and practice, but also in realizing that everything can be described colorfully and creatively! That’s how I see it!

I’m going to make this semester whatever I want it to be by taking it day by day and going into everything with a positive attitude. I feel like everything is how you make it out to be in your head. If classes begin to get difficult and start to feel like the rest of the semester is not going to be fun, then it won’t. Same if you were to think the other way around! Definitely easier said than done considering how easy it is to get overwhelmed and frustrated, but it’s all part of the learning process and it’s the complicated and the difficult that makes it all more challenging and interesting!

Not saying you should just accept however you’re feeling, but maybe look and see what you can do to move forward and eventually you’ll find happiness, and finding happiness instead of forcing it, is much more of a relief. I’m going to make the semester a great one, because even through hard times like these you just have to keep moving forward. If you want to be happy and make the most of it, then be happy. Nothing is holding you back from anything, just yourself. In the beginning of this whole corona thing I was super stressed, but then over time I realized there’s really no reason to worry. Just stay safe and find things that make you happy. Adapting to school this semester might be a little tricky at first, but I’m totally looking forward to it. It’s something different and we need to step out of our comfort zone sometimes.
