Hello everyone, hope you all are doing alright! My day has been very mellow. I am getting the habit to go to the USS campus to study and it is so pleasant to be there. It was so pretty with all the autumn colors I was surrounded by, the nature, some people passing by with their dogs. I spent more than 3 hours than until I realized I had to come back home to cook something and get ready for this class.

What I want from my life is to find a place to call home everywhere I go and everyone I meet. I love the quote that says that home is not a place, it is a feeling. I want to share and spread all the love I have – which I know there is a endless source of it inside me. I want to be able to call everyone who has been in my life family because that is what they are. People who I can love unconditionally.

What I want from my life at the age of 18 it’s a difficult question to answer with the amount of pressure from various people you feel to make the “right” choice. Ideally I would like to work for a tech company or maybe a luxury brand and live out in Texas or the East coast. If ever given the opportunity I would want to change the world for the better but that’s one of the hardest things a person can do.

I still don’t know exactly what I’m going to be or how I’m going to get there but I have a rough draft/outline of how I want it to look so I’ll continue to grow and build off of what I got.

What I want immediately is different from what I want from life. What I want immediately is to move, to travel, and to satisfy my need for adventure. But what I want from life is different. My. goal is to be happy. not just superficially, but truly happy with everything life has given me. There are so many people in this world that have just focused on how to make themselves successful in the conventional sense, but have no regard for their emotional success.

I got the book this morning and read the first couple of chapters. Explaining the challenge with his daughter to run the marathon with, as well as how his brother challenged him to the same marathon when Tom was younger seemed pretty ironic. I think a perspective from someone who used to run long distance when he was younger and came back in his fifties to run a marathon with his daughter in college is not only humbling, but entertaining and unorthodox that makes for a suspenseful and hilarious story

Realizing dreams is what makes life worth living in my opinion, without goals there is no direction in my life. I keep receiving ads about “replacing a 9-5” in 21 days and it just makes me sad that people really believe ads like this. To try and take shortcuts to what most would consider large dreams just isn’t real not to mention there is no sense of achievement or struggle to reach your goal. The only way in my opinion to reach a goal is to try again and again until you reach it, through effort and determination.
