Changing my attitude and assessment, how I sell and convince myself.

On the Leadership meeting call right now, Field Sales.

Thinking on the drive over here, about the words sales and the most common reactions to hearing or seeing, or READING the word.  Playing with that ick reaction, taunting it.  Educating from it… conviction, Storytelling, sharing, human connectivity.

Notes, not sentences.

Force your own smile…

Meeting over, 11:22, coffee and a break at desk.  Was going to type in the break room but walked there with a friend and talked, then ran into another co-worker, someone I met a few weeks ago and he complimented a new pair of shoes I was wearing and we started going on and on about shoes, and where we get ours.

We just did the same and I knew I wouldn’t write if there.  So, when our talk ended and he started fixing and arranging his lunch, I left the room.  He told me about an expensive pair he bought and he felt a little guilty, I told him to do what I do… write it off as SELF-CARE.

No joke.  After some recent events and talks with the Nurse, I’m putting this writer and everything about and in and for his life/STORY, first.

That simple… that straightforward.  I sip this coffee smiling loud as FUCK.

Self-care.  I decided.  No reversal.
