The truth to my story is mostly on how much I’ve grown and what I’ve learned from my own experiences and other people’s experiences. I’ve learned so many things, but only some things I have learned were very helpful.

I believe the truth of my story is; it’s okay to struggle. It’s something I fought with for a long time, but the overarching struggles I’ve had with anxiety and other issues always bothered me. But now I embrace my issues. I take things one day at a time and I work towards a stronger version of myself every day!

Every single person around me is a character. Each character has story and I have one reflected about them. However, I’m the protagonist and I want to write about my personal experiences that include them. I can show the impact they have had on my life with direct truth, coming back around to connect with the worth of my story.

Antagonists can be the conflicts, not just a singular character. It could even coexist within the protagonist. I’ll define the infliction.

The truth to my story is a culmination of my experiences and challenges and for the reader, or viewer to find their own truth from that collection. A binary truth is fallable, but a subjective one is the only true and universal one.

I think its a bit of both, ether truth finds you in your story, or you step back for a second and find the truth for yourself, whatever the character is dealing with can be greatly expressed in words. meaning it is always good to write down your experience’s.

Something I’ve learned the last couple of weeks. God, some people are just ALL about themselves. I still need to figure out a way how to deal with their personalities without losing my mind.

It’s fine to be about self, but the characters that surround MUST be considered. 🙂

The truth to my story.. laziness. procrastination. excuses. self pity. But also letting go of all of those and working my ass of, to improve my mental, physical and financial state of being. Not being where I wanted to be, it was within my control all the time, but making excuses is so much easier than putting in effort. Change starts wherever I want it to start, and that amount of control is freeing.

My story would have to be filled with many truths. It would be filled with anxiety and how I dealt with that as a child, happiness being with my family and friends, a truth I try to keep on my mind everyday is love..and how it is important and needed.

I’m trying to find ways to describe my truth but I’m having some trouble. Does truth=theme? or is it the main idea of that theme? If soooo then I think fostering healthy relationships with others but most importantly with myself. Finding a theme or common ground of what keeps me ok. Then what I can build on top of that ok to make some overall happiness. My truth in this moment would be finding the bliss in each breath. Each morning I set a mantra that’s going to help me follow my truth. When I’m in a difficult interaction or having to make a tough decision I remind myself that I am walking on the path of light. So today my truth is that I am walking in the light. Whatever that may mean for me today. From this little scattered post I’m learning that each day I find new truths whether I am looking for them or not. If you’re still reading, thanks for following along!

The truth to my story is growth, every idea and every solution comes from growth. If there wasn’t a focus on growth nothing would progress in the story. It would be a stagnate existence without any learning.

From what I looked in to for Sedaris, he appears to have the similar quality to that of Lawson and Irby in which his stories are an honest look into the experiences that shaped his life, whether they paint him in a positive light or not.

I found out the Sedaris likes to write strange things in his fans books and I thought that was hilarious because not all of his fans end up the happiest with the ridiculous things he writes. One girl had him sign a book for her boyfriend named Robert and he drew a tombstone in it because he thought they wouldn’t last. In his defense though, I don’t really trust Roberts either.

In an interview with Steve Paikin, David Sedaris says that he doesn’t think writing is cathartic, but it is how he makes sense of the world. He writes about the awful, unspeakable things that people can relate too but don’t ever talk about.

After looking up David Sedaris and watching a youtube interview I have found that he is a writer but also a comedian at the same time. After watching a youtube video of him with Jimmy Fallon I can see just how he uses his humor, to invite and make people laugh. He was born December 26th and is a little older than our past authors. I have a feeling his work will be close to Lawson and Irby but maybe different in different senses because of different life experiences.
