Inward MuZen – Post Four

Taking a moment.

Nothing overthought, just me and the space, the quiet and collection. And of all places, here at work. Connectivity… self to self.

Not the kind of connectivity measured in bandwidth or signals, but the quieter kind.  The human kind.

The moment where breath slows down just enough to notice it.

Between emails, meetings, and small urgencies that feel large while they’re happening.

Self-care doesn’t always arrive with candles, beaches, or retreats.

Sometimes it lands in the most ordinary places—an office chair, a desk, a few minutes where the mind gently returns home.

I’ve found that these scenes are less about escape and more about reunion. A reunion with thought, feeling, and simple awareness.  The small realization that I don’t have to rush every second forward.

That presence itself is productive in a deeper way.

A journal helps here.  A few lines, a reflection, sometimes just a word or two.  The page becomes a mirror, but a kind one.

No judgment. Just observation.

In a world constantly asking for output, this is the quiet act of input—listening inward.

And strangely, from that stillness, clarity often returns. Energy follows. Perspective resets.

All from taking a moment.

Not perfectly planned.

Just… taken.
