Sitting now, taking a second, to me.  No typing, just listening.

A “Mindful Moment” as so many on Instagram and other social stages would say.  The planes in the distance, little wind, Oliver our dog snoring a bit then having one of those doggy dreams where he barks a little in high octave couples with hastily-tied whimpers.

People down the street having a bbq or party, me in here taking all of it.  Not translating, and not judging, just being.  Grateful for this quiet, moment to me.  It’s enough.

And enough isn’t lazy—it’s precise, focused.  Choosing what matters and letting the rest starve.
