7:00-7:20pm = Introduction, familiarize with blog site
7:20-7:40pm = Questions about course, instructor, syllabus, assignments, etc.
7:40-8pm = What do you want from English 1A?
8-8:10pm = What would you want a reader to know about your story? How would you plan on actualizing this through writing, narration?
8:10-8:30pm = How do you force happiness? Can you? Can you just write it into actuality?

I started at the Santa Rosa JC 2014 and had to take semesters off a lot, but I am very excited to be back to try and finish my associates! I enjoy reading fiction novels. I also used to write a lot in high school so I am hoping to get that love for writing back in this class.

Hey everyone! I’m Ethon, this is my 2nd year at the SRJC. I’m a business major and getting my general ed classes done so I can hopefully transfer to a 4 year soon. I’m either looking at schools somewhere in Southern California or OSU (Oregon State University). Aside from school and what not, some hobbies I enjoy are video games mostly, watching shows and movies (I have been starting to like anime too lately), and making youtube videos and livestreams. I also really enjoy music, mostly rap, but I’m very open to anything and I would love to have some of you recommend me stuff.

Yes! I just had my second baby boy 3 months ago on the 22nd of this month and it’s been all about how I’ve been during this pandemic with pregnancy and having complications during my C-section delivery and not being able to have much support during all of this.

I used to keep a journal back in high school, but got out of it to keep up with academics. It was mostly a journal where i would write poems and short stories. I’m not sure I still have it, but I really feel motivated to start a new journal now!

A little about me I was born in Leemore N.A.S, but mainly grew up here in Santa Rosa. I drove a truck for twenty years, with my wife, that was some of my greatest experiences, since it allowed me to see the whole country(continental States). We have since checked off the last two. After that I became a teachers aid for special needs children and did that right up until covid.

My name is Alex but most of my friends call me Chino due to my curly hair. I was born in Long Beach, Ca. and moved to Sonoma County when i was 12. Graduated from Healdsburg High in 2012 and last semester was my first semester back at the JC since 2014. Some of my hobbies include building beach cruisers and lowrider bicycles, playing video games and hanging out with my 2 year old daughter. I enjoy classic cars and drive a 1960 Chevy C10 myself. I’m a mechanic at Hansel Honda and I’m actually going to school for business.

I’ll say one thing for your notes tonight….. Composition has to be decided… your work and how well you do, is decided. Your “success” in this class is utterly out of my hands. You hold the world that is the next 18 or however many weeks ahead we’ll be working together.

I’m looking forward to finding out what my writing composition is! This class is really interesting! Out of the box, really. I wonder if composition morphs and changes like a butterfly or grows with nurture like a tree! I feel inspired some how knowing that either way, the next 18 weeks will sure some interesting times!
