Zen Den writing… hear people in the break room on the other side of the wall, but I’m ignoring them.  Working with the scene set.

Returned to fiction yesterday, then placing the piece I wrote in GPT for some insight, workshopping, like a book club-esque reaction.

Interesting, what populates.  But, the more important aspect, the practice… I’m writing fiction.  This most recent one, about quota, and sales, and the hitting quota but realizing that, at some point, you don’t want to chase it anymore.  ‘Cause when you do, and hit it, there is no more euphoria, no more celebration.  It just feels procedural.

Will be back in class in a bit.  This student, one of my favorites since coming back to Sonic.  He comes with sales experience, and some management too.  Interesting character – young father, engaged, family-focused, kind and gentle, profusely knowledgeable.

Makes my job easy, to be honest.

Scheduling conflict I need to work out.. shit.  Just push it to tomorrow, what I have to do.

Catching myself overthinking again.  Then I stop.  Not from decision, but necessity and inward frustration.
