Paris, France.
Nurse and I taking it slow this morning, and I let the gratitude steer me. Not acknowledging how fast the time with her moves other than being coached and forwarded to appreciating it more…

Everything, is this story with her. A new writing and life and work, thought, all directions. Each of those dimensions, its own direction and pulse, movement.
Tonight a boat cruise, champagne-themed and written, on the Seine. Like the Nurse and I say, so often, WHOSE LIFE IS THIS?
Then we break from our humor and rhetorical rile, and say to each other, “Ours.” And like we both reminded each other, before even leaving our bed and heading downstairs for a small breakfast and cappuccinos—WE DESERVE THIS.
We are choosing this. I am choosing this, her, what I learn, and all from her.
This thought and thought consistency, realized and came alive on the plane ride over, while the Nurse next to me slept.
Not rushing it. This Story we write, ours. And me, with more life. More gratitude of course, but seeing more. The opportunity all this presents.
