Challenge to myself is building the business from my phone. That device, much I curse it sometimes, is the office.
Oliver next to me, just beyond this writer’s stretched-out legs, I’m told by the moment and something I posted on BDX’s site a couple days ago to “risk louder”. The Company, one of its Core Values of BOLDNESS…. Wrapping and prompting, provoking me.
Everything that I need for any aim I have is at the Company, I’m seeing that. In multiple modes and sonics.
…..exactly the point. The why. The proof that this works. That you can take a single idea and multiply it from wherever you are, however you are — as long as you risk a little louder than you did the day before.
A couple days ago, I threw that line onto the BDX site — risk louder.
Not just risk. Not just plan. Not just dream. Louder.…Loud enough for you to hear yourself over your own hesitation. Loud enough for any audience to feel it in the copy, the pitch, the post. BDX is built on that. It’s in the Company’s DNA: one of our Core Values — Boldness — in all caps, underlined, neon.
Everything I need for any aim I have is right here. At the Company.
In this phone. In this tiny window where these words show up first for me and then for you.
The message is simple: you already have what you need. Stop asking for permission to start.
Stop worrying about how it’ll look. Risk louder. Be bolder. Market like you mean it. Then wake up tomorrow and do it again — wherever your office is.
