driving me to several parts of Santa Rosa, looking at different building and install types. Reminded me of the AE days doing site visits. Most will think this is geeky tech talk but I’m not from the world, this world, so I find it interesting and feel the same way I did as a new Account Executive going out on site visits with my Sales Engineer, M.Ditter.
Close to EOD, 3:17 PM. Sipping coffee past my cut-ff point, 2PM. So actually, WAAAAAY past it. But I sip anyway. Feel myself slowing down and I write about it, write about the feeling of yesterday v today.
Not much worth getting into, but I’m acknowledging it myself, in a MeMeeting of sorts. Leaving in 40 minutes and getting SELF a nice bottle of something red at Nugget once landed in VV.
Writing only about this, this office and Consumer Sales Story, selling and training SELF for certain better ‘best practices’.
Instructional Designer, a friend of mine told me yesterday she aims to be. I look at the notes from the Field today, and thank about what I’m designing, what I’m instructing myself to do.
Obvious. And like that, the thinking all but stops. And the actuation is amplified.
